Guidelines to Submit and Apply
Grand Piano Passion™ welcomes submissions from writers and fine artists.
Writers: Interviews, Commentary, and Reviews
Please submit a pitch, with a description of your proposed article, your brief biography. and links to previously published work to firstname.lastname@example.org. We look for articles in our two subject areas of classical piano music and hearing loss. Some examples of articles are interviews with pianists, either amateur or professional, reviews of books and music, and specific how-to pointers.
Writers: Personal Essays
Please submit personal essays written in full, along a brief biography and links to previously published work to email@example.com. We look for essays about personal experiences in our two subject areas of classical piano music and hearing loss. Some examples of topics include playing the piano, learning about classical piano music, living with someone committed to piano music, living with hearing loss, or helping a friend or loved one with hearing loss.
We are currently looking to create partnerships with a small stable of select fine artists who have a robust portfolio of work. The artist provides high-quality images of their work–paintings, drawing, sculpture–which serve as featured images for our articles. Each image is credited to the artist. The artist’s photograph, biography, and website link are included on our About page. Additionally, Grand Piano Passion™ will feature the artist’s work in one exclusive article each year. The artist’s portfolio needs to have a connection to our content, although the connection could be emotional or instinctual. To apply, submit your brief biography, an online link to your portfolio, and a brief statement about the connection between your work and our content to firstname.lastname@example.org.
